When you are not using them to take care of your skin, eggs are the one food you eat most regularly today and have--almost every day--throughout your life. How can you fully get a grasp of my eater-self without sorting out eggs’ role in it?  Egg Show is a cartoonist’s way of exploring her connection with food while conquering the egg dishes that have won her heart, one at a time.

About an artist
Growing up in Korea, comic books were a big part of June Kim’s daily life: reading pirated, pocket-size Japanese Manga series like Dragon Ball, Ranma 1/2, Slamdunk at recess; collecting Korean girls’ comics and hiding them from her parents at home; and creating her own stories in her class notebooks. A timely encounter with Sandman and Drawn & Quarterly comic books convinced her to come to the United States and study art. After four years at SVA, June became fluent in both American comics and Manga style. Since graduating, she has been working as an editorial and commercial illustrator to support her comic career. Although skilled in several different styles, she is most recognized for her cover art and music video work for the popular rock band JET’s 2003 debut, Get Born. As a cartoonist, June Kim believes comics is a way of life, a series of experiences through which she questions and challenges herself. 12 days, June Kim’s first graphic novel, was published by Tokyopop in 2006. In 2010, She has finished Girltrash!, a collaborative project with filmmaker Angela Robinson.
